Job description
Reporting to our Shipping Supervisor, the Glass Receiver will receive incoming glass deliveries. Inspect glass to ensure good quality and nothing broken or missing. Work with our glaziers and swampers to gather glass for their needs.
The position is Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm with the opportunity for overtime and weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Receive glass, checking packing slip to delivery
- Inspect glass for defects, broken units, or missing units
- Move glass to glazing line as needed.
- Move site glass to shipping as needed
- Able to work independently or on a team
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Must have CSA certified steel-toed safety boots.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs
- Forklift or suction crane experience an asset
