Overview
Alpine Construction Company is seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated individual to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a diverse construction background who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
This is a hands-on position that offers the opportunity to work on kitchens, bathrooms, basement developments, tenant improvements, custom carpentry projects, and general renovations throughout the Edmonton area and surrounding communities.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry and general construction tasks on residential and commercial projects
- Install cabinets, millwork, doors, trim, and hardware
- Complete drywall installation, repairs, taping, and finishing
- Perform framing for renovations, additions, and basement developments
- Install flooring including vinyl plank, laminate, engineered hardwood, and tile
- Complete interior and exterior painting projects
- Assist with demolition, site preparation, and material handling
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members
- Assist with project planning and problem-solving when required
Qualifications
- Experience in residential and commercial construction
- Strong carpentry and renovation skills
- Experience with cabinets, flooring, tile, drywall, painting, and framing
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Experience operating trucks and towing trailers is considered an asset

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
