Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated MSW Social Worker / Psychotherapist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing mental health support and therapeutic services to diverse patient populations, including children and adolescents. Duties
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions with patients across various age groups, including children and adolescents
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop integrated treatment plans that address both psychological and medical needs
- Perform psychosocial assessments, including data collection and documentation of patient progress
- Manage case loads efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination of care
- Assist with discharge planning, community resource linkage, and ongoing support for patients post-treatment
- Maintain accurate records utilizing medical terminology and adhere to confidentiality standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies
- Engage in research activities or quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes
Experience
- Proven experience working with children, pediatrics, or in hospital environments is highly preferred
- Background in patient care, case management, or mental health therapy is essential
- Knowledge of medical terminology and special education considerations enhances service delivery
- Prior experience working with diverse populations, including those requiring specialized educational support or behavioral interventions, is a plus

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
