Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Owner Operator to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and experience with heavy equipment operation and automotive repair. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles in compliance with all federal and state regulations
- Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure optimal functioning
- Manage freight documentation, delivery schedules, and route planning for timely deliveries
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for loading or unloading cargo
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status or issues encountered during routes
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage
Experience
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for vehicle maintenance needs
- Prior experience managing freight logistics and route planning is advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
This role requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing responsibilities independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Pay: $100,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
