Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Licensed Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a dedication to creating a welcoming environment for clients. This role involves providing high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and engaging with clients to ensure their satisfaction. The Licensed Hairstylist will also have opportunities to upsell retail products and contribute to the overall success of the salon.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, treatments, and styling based on client preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening to client needs and offering professional recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending suitable hair care products and upselling additional services.
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products through ongoing education and training.
Experience
- Valid state cosmetology license or hairstylist license required. With a clientele
- Proven experience in hair styling, including cutting, colouring, and styling techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon setting.
- Experience with retail sales and upselling is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $17.20-$47.58 per hour
