Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our friendly dental practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about patient care and oral health. The position involves working closely with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, and supporting the overall efficiency of our dental team.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using tracker
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Support pediatric patients by creating a comfortable environment and explaining procedures in an age-appropriate manner
- Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Skills
- Proficiency with Tracker dental office management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient population
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
