About Us
Ramen Misoya is an authentic Japanese ramen restaurant known for our rich miso-based broths and welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Restaurant Team Members who are excited to learn both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) operations.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly, positive attitude
- Take food and drink orders accurately and operate the POS system
- Assist in preparing ramen dishes, toppings, and side items
- Maintain cleanliness in both the dining and kitchen areas
- Follow health and safety standards, including proper food handling
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Smart Serve Certification (Required)
- Food Handler Certification (Required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn multiple roles (kitchen & service)
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot and fast-paced kitchen conditions
