Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in language instruction, experience working with children, and a commitment to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging French lessons tailored to students’ age and proficiency levels
- Create lesson plans that incorporate cultural elements, language skills, and interactive activities
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) for lesson planning, assignments, and tracking student performance
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special educational needs or learning challenges
- Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum improvements and extracurricular activities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievements
- Proofread and review instructional materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and appropriateness for the target age group
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom updates
- Support tutoring sessions or additional help for students requiring extra assistance in French or related subjects
Experience
- Prior experience in early childhood education or teaching young learners is highly desirable
- Proven classroom experience with children, including managing diverse learning needs
- Strong background in language instruction, particularly in French, with knowledge of teaching methodologies
- Experience with math integration or cross-disciplinary activities is a plus
- Familiarity with LMS platforms for online or blended learning environments
- Knowledge of special education practices to support inclusive classroom settings
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively
