We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented is looking for an experienced Furniture Framer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong, accurate, and high-quality wooden frames for sofas, sofa beds, chairs, and other upholstered furniture.
This role is best suited for someone with hands-on experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, carpentry, or upholstery frame construction.
Responsibilities
- Build wooden frames for sofas, sofa beds, chairs, and related furniture pieces
- Create, Read and follow frame designs, measurements, and production instructions
- Cut, assemble, glue, staple, and fasten wood components accurately
- Fasten springs & webbing for seat support
- Use woodworking tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure frames are strong, square, level, and ready for upholstery
- Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and durability
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience in furniture framing, woodworking, carpentry, or furniture manufacturing preferred
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, staple guns, saws, drills, and other shop equipment
- Strong measuring and cutting skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with accuracy
- Physically able to lift, move, and handle furniture materials
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Required Qualifications
- Experience making frames for sofas, sofa beds, and chairs
- Knowledge of upholstered furniture construction
- Ability to work independently after receiving instructions
- Previous experience in a furniture factory or upholstery shop
