Olivier's La Boulangerie is a French Artisan Bakery in BC with Café branches, located in Lower Mainland. Our team work around the clock to produce and distribute bread without any chemical preservatives, GMO grain or high gluten elements. In addition to our production facilities, our cafés offer warm, welcoming spaces where customers can enjoy freshly baked breads, viennoiseries, pastries, and carefully crafted beverages. We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join our Bakery Café as a full-time Sales Associate/Barista in our café located in 859 Hornby st, Vancouver. You'll be the friendly face that greets our customers and crafts delicious beverages.
How will be your day?
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other menu items according to company standards.
- Prepare sandwiches, and other bakery products following food safety standards.
- Package bakery products while maintaining product quality and presentation.
- Process cash, debit, credit, and other POS transactions accurately.
- Restock displays, merchandise products, and rotate inventory using FIFO.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, customer areas, equipment, and dining areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and hygiene requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Report product quality, equipment, or safety concerns to management.
Schedule:
- Shifts starting from 5 am
What you’ll need:
- A love for coffee and a passion for great customer service.
- Previous experience on bakery or coffee shop (asset)
- FoodSafe Level 1 certificate (required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
