We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Finance Manager to join our dealership team in Peterborough, Ontario. This role is responsible for assisting customers with vehicle financing and protection products while ensuring a professional, transparent, and compliant sales experience.
The successful candidate will work closely with our sales team, lenders, and customers to secure financing solutions and help customers protect their vehicle investment through available products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Present financing, leasing, warranty, insurance, and protection product options to customers.
- Arrange and submit finance applications to lending institutions.
- Ensure all transactions comply with applicable laws, regulations, lender requirements, and dealership policies.
- Accurately complete and process financing documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and product providers.
- Support customers throughout the delivery process and answer financing-related questions.
- Achieve finance and product penetration objectives while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and dealership records.
- Assist with administrative and reporting requirements related to the Finance Office.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Finance Manager, or a related automotive finance role.
- Strong understanding of automotive financing and lending practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- OMVIC certification is considered an asset.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with an acceptable driving record.
