Overview
A family owned Mississauga based steel manufacturer since 1977, needs highly skilled and detail-oriented Mill Operators, Cutoff Operators, End Welders, Slitter Operators, Packagers, Receivers, Shippers, Maintenance Mechanics to join our dynamic team for day and afternoon shifts (pay dependent on position). The ideal candidates will have experience in steel tube manufacturing, coil slitting and machine maintenance. The roles offers a very competitive salary (with potential bonuses) and an extremely generous benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Operating Mill, End Welder, and Cutoff Machines
- Operating Slitter, Packaging Slit Coil, Receiving Coil
- Loading trucks with steel tubing using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Maintenance of Steel Tube Mill and Coil Slitting Machine (Millwright preferred)
- Packaging steel tubing.
- Forklift and Overhead Crane experience an asset.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
