We are currently seeking a Journeyperson or 4th Year Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team!
Location: The Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver Area
Position: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty machinery, forklifts, truck and trailer.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Ensure all machinery is in optimal and safe working condition.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional service.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and associated systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Utilize power tools and industrial equipment to conduct repairs.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for various tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in the shop and on-site.
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson or 4th year apprentice.
- Forklift and aerial platform experience considered an asset.
- Collaborative and dedicated individual .
- Proven experience in heavy-duty machinery and forklift repair.
- Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel.
- Safety-oriented and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
