Commercial Truck/Delivery Driver (Minimum DZ)
Position: Commercial Truck Driver (Day Shift)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Commercial Truck Driver (minimum DZ) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating large trucks safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and insurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate large commercial trucks in a safe and professional manner.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Transport goods and materials according to assigned schedules and routes.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and required documentation.
- Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer service attitude.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- Occasional overtime may be required based on operational needs.
- Profit Sharing
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving large commercial trucks.
- Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
- Ability to provide a current driver abstract for review.
- Demonstrated safe driving record and commitment to workplace safety.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation and transportation regulations.
Driving Record Requirements
- No driving convictions within the preceding 3 years.
- No at-fault motor vehicle claims within the preceding 6 years.
- Must be insurable under the company's automobile insurance policy.
Insurance Requirements
- Any driver operating company vehicles must be listed on the automobile insurance policy.
- Successful candidates will be required to provide information necessary for insurance approval.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with freight handling and load securement.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
