Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Primary Teacher to instruct students in Grades 7 and 8, focusing on Math and English. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for Math and English for Grades 7-8
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages student participation and confidence
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and informal evaluations; provide constructive feedback
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities or special education requirements
- Create accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and areas for improvement
- Manage classroom time effectively to ensure all lessons are completed within scheduled periodsExperience
- Prior classroom teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred
- Experience working with children, including those with special needs or disabilities, is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods for diverse learners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and educational technology tools
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear instruction and feedback
- Experience in tutoring or working with adolescents outside of traditional classroom settings is a plus
