Skills required:
- Excavator: Komatsu / CAT / John Deere / Hitachi
- Shovel: Hitachi / komatsu
- Haul truck: Cat 773 - 793, Komatsu HM400, Cat, Volvo articulated
- Dozer: Cat D6-D11, komatsu D65, D85, JD850K, 1050K,L
- Graders: Cat 14m, 16m, 24m
- Ability to work on small engines/support equipment an asset
All successful candidates must have:
- Journeyman Red Seal / I.P. Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification is required.
- Mining background, or Oil and Gas experience considered an asset
- Class 5 driver’s license / clean driver's abstract
- Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- CAT E.T, CAT SIS, Komatsu, Hitachi diagnostic experience
- Exceptional electric and hydraulic troubleshooting ability on all types of systems
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to follow strict safety procedures
