We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Provide product demonstrations and assist with technology sales when applicable.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, including merchandising displays.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrate effective time management by efficiently managing the flow of customers during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred, with knowledge of basic math for transaction accuracy.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Ability to engage in technical sales and provide product demos effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy work environment and manage inventory effectively.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary.
