Day shift
As a Prep Cook and Cook, you will be integral to our kitchen team, responsible for food preparation and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will utilize your core skills in cooking and meal preparation to assist in creating delicious dishes that delight our guests. Your experience in the food industry and knowledge of food handling will be essential in maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. Additionally, your computer skills and Food Handler Certification will support our commitment to safety and excellence in food service. Join us in delivering exceptional culinary experiences!
Qualifications:
- Experienced in quantity food preparation and the preparation of therapeutic diets.
- Must be familiar with the use of kitchen equipment.
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certification.
- Must have empathy for, and an understanding of the needs of the elderly.
- Must have computer skills.
- Must have the ability to speak, read and write in English, and to follow oral and written directions, and do arithmetic calculations.
