The IOOF has recently embarked on the largest capital project in the IOOF’s history, with the launch of a $1.2 million redevelopment campaign to expand the facility to a 226-bed long-term care home. This transformative revitalization will create 64 new long-term care beds and 66 upgraded beds, modern spaces, updated equipment, private rooms, and increased square footage.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Facilities and Environment, the successful applicant for this position will be responsible for performing the physical requirements necessary to effectively and efficiently maintain a clean, odor free, pleasant and safe environment and maintain the supply of clean linens to all areas of the Home for residents.
Positions Available: Permanent Part Time - NIGHTS, Temporary Part Time - NIGHTS, Casual
Qualifications:
- Grade ten or equivalent;
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and procedures;
- Basic knowledge of facility housekeeping procedures;
- Basic knowledge of on premise laundry operations, washers, dryers, large ironer and marking machine and laundry procedures for sorting the linens according to soil, fabric type and finish required;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills; and
- Self-motivated, organized and conscientious
Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
