Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed 310T Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in heavy-duty truck repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Hydrovac trucks and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately to minimize fleet downtime.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company polices, industry best practices, and applicable Canadian regulations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Assist with troubleshooting complex mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to apprentice and junior technicians.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach license with relevant certification
- Strong background in heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance.
- Experience with diagnostic software
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
