Overview
We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Retail Assistant & Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This unique role combines in-store customer service with digital marketing and content creation, making it ideal for someone passionate about art, visual storytelling, and connecting with people both online and in person.
The successful candidate will help create exceptional customer experiences in our retail space while supporting the growth of our brand through engaging social media content and marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Retail & Customer Service
- Welcome customers and provide exceptional in-store service.
- Assist customers with product selection by offering knowledgeable recommendations and support.
- Maintain an organized, inviting, and visually appealing retail environment.
- Support daily store operations as needed.
Social Media & Marketing
- Manage and maintain the company's social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that reflects the brand's voice and values.
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Design graphics and promotional materials for social media, advertising, and marketing initiatives.
- Capture and create visual content, including photos and videos, for online promotion.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Monitor social media performance, analyze engagement metrics, and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
- Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with social media platforms and social media management tools.
- Strong written communication, proofreading, and content editing skills.
- Creative eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to analyze social media insights and use data to improve content performance.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Previous retail, customer service, marketing, or content creation experience is an asset but not required.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for art and creative industries.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
