Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality food items, assisting with meal assembly, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure timely service
- Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist in stocking supplies and rotating inventory as needed
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- Basic understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles is a plus
Pay: $16.00-$23.00 per hour
