Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laminate Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing laminate flooring and related surfaces with precision and professionalism. This role requires a strong understanding of flooring installation carpet tiles vinyl glue down and hardwood, and experience with various hand tools. The Laminate Installer will work closely with clients and team members to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Measure and prepare work areas for laminate flooring installation
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, and trowels to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials
- Install laminate flooring, tile, and other related surfaces according to specifications
- Perform surface preparation including leveling, caulking, and sealing as needed
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to flooring projects, including framing or subfloor adjustments
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or carpentry
- Proficiency with hand tools used in construction and flooring projects
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and techniques
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Prior experience with caulking and surface sealing is desirable
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship

Pay: $19.77-$30.00 per hour
