We're looking for a reliable and professional individual to provide temporary reception coverage from July 6, 2026 to July 10, 2026. The Receptionist is the face of our organization and will be the first point of contact for our customers over the phone and in person. This role is based in our Etobicoke location and the shift schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cores Responsibilities:
- Operate a multi-line telephone system to transfer all incoming calls to the appropriate individual/department in a courteous and professional manner
- Distribute mail/faxes
- Respond to emails in a timely manner
- Handling queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence
- Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area
- Perform various clerical duties as requested
- Maintain the filing system
- Ensure that the reception area is never left unattended
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external clients
- Monitor the front counter to ensure customers have been greeted and looked after
- Taking messages and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate staff member in time
