Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant restaurant environment, contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen staff with cooking and plating dishes for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during meal service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
- Food industry experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential
