Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate, and enthusiastic Dog Trainer to join our team. If you love working with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds—and enjoy educating and empowering pet parents—you might be the perfect fit!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct private and group training sessions using positive reinforcement techniques
- Overview day care programs
- Develop personalized training plans based on dog behavior assessments
- Provide guidance and support to pet owners during and between sessions
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients
- Keep accurate records of training progress
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and continuing education in dog behavior
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in doggy day care
- Strong understanding of positive reinforcement and fear-free methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, reliability, and a love for all dogs
