MIG/TIG & Flux Core Welder
Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced MIG/TIG and Flux Core Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding experience in industrial fabrication, with proven experience working on silos, tanks, towers, and other large-scale steel structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required.
- Weld and fabricate silos, tanks, towers, vessels, structural components, and related industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Set up and operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
- Perform welding in various positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
- Inspect welds for quality, strength, dimensions, and compliance with specifications.
- Complete fit-up, tack welding, grinding, cutting, and finishing as required.
- Follow all WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of welding equipment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations, including PPE requirements.
- Work safely when handling large, heavy, and oversized components.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have previous experience welding silos, tanks, towers, pressure vessels, or similar large industrial structures.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant welding experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with MIG and Flux Core welding; TIG experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Experience working with heavy-gauge steel and large fabricated components.
- Ability to use measuring tools and welding/fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift, move, and work around heavy materials and equipment.
- CWB certification/tickets are an asset where applicable.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
