Job Summary
We are small but busy company looking for a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various machinery and equipment. The job entails running a fully stocked service van and dealing with different customers on a day to day basis, alone and unsupervised. 10 Years minimum experience is required in the Industrial Field
Responsibilities
- Install and align machinery according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts as needed for machinery repairs or modifications.
- Work with Industrial systems to ensure proper operation within facilities.
- Collaborate with other trades, including electricians and welders, to complete projects efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role within an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Industrial systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
