Overview
The Sales & Service Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience across our retail store, phone, email, and online channels. This role combines consultative sales, customer service, and day-to-day store operations to help customers find the right products and solutions while building long-term relationships. The successful candidate is friendly, proactive, and organized, with a willingness to learn technical products, solve customer problems, and contribute to the success of the store. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service in-store, over the phone, and via email for both sales inquiries and customer support. Process transactions efficiently and accurately using internal system, ensuring secure and timely handling of customer payments.
- Sales & Retention: Actively identify sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers, build long-term customer relationships, and contribute to store sales goals through excellent service and proactive customer engagement.
- Support: Assist customers with basic product setup, troubleshooting, and warranty inquiries. Escalate more complex technical issues to senior team members or manufacturers as required.
- Communications: Ensure customer calls, emails and live chat inquiries are managed efficiently, providing timely and effective support that enhances customer satisfaction.
- Store Maintenance: Assist with receiving inventory, stocking shelves, merchandising, pricing, light warehouse duties, and maintaining a clean, organized showroom and warehouse as required.
- Keyholder Responsibilities: Open and close the store as required, complete daily opening and closing procedures, and ensure all security and safety procedures are followed.
- Other Responsibilities: Execute any other functions, special projects, or operational duties as required for evolving business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Industry Experience (Preferred): Familiarity or hands-on experience with professional exterior cleaning equipment, specifically pure water filtration systems, high-pressure pumps, and water-fed poles, is considered a strong asset, but not necessary.
- Customer Service & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience in retail or sales environments.
- Sales Acumen: Comfortable identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate products, and confidently asking for the sale.
- Technical & Product Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn product specifications and troubleshooting solutions.
- Computer Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft 365, web-based business software, point-of-sale systems, and learning new technology.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to Work Independently: Demonstrates a strong capacity for self-motivation and time management, effectively completing tasks and making decisions with minimal supervision.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, move inventory, and spend extended periods standing, walking, and assisting customers throughout the store and warehouse.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional proficiency in French (both spoken and written) is considered a strong asset to effectively support digital chat, email inquiries, and diverse customer accounts.
Hours & Schedule
- Current Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Flexibility: Standard operating hours are subject to change based on seasonal demands or business needs. Advance notice would be provided for any permanent schedule adjustments.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
