We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with strong technical skills for our Security, CCTV and Access Control Division. Candidate must have advanced knowledge and experience with installation, programming, troubleshooting and integration of Card Access, Intercom, IP CCTV, Telecom Wiring, Network and Security Systems. Working knowledge and experience with the following systems would be considered an asset, Mircom, Kantech, Keyscan, DSC, Ajax, Aiphone, Akuvox, ICT
Responsibilities and Duties
- Commission projects in a timely fashion.
- Review, understand and implement project plans and specs
- Provide support for account rep with preparation of formal quote to potential customer.
- Work and organize project schedule for field work.
- Work with a crew to ensure work completed as per schedule.
- Submit completed reports as to the installation progress and/or complete Service Orders or billing and processing.
- Ensure quality of work meets minimum industry code as well as company standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in English.
- Must be able to install EMT conduit.
- Pull cables through conduit.
- Must have basic hand tools to perform job.
- Must be able to to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs.
- Must possess technical trouble shooting skills to resolve customer service needs.
- Must possess a valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean history.
- Able to work at heights on a ladder, scaffold or lift platform.
- May be required to work variable hours, weekends and/or "on-call shifts as necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Post-secondary education in electronics is recommended.
- Working knowledge and experience with the following systems would be considered an asset, Mircom, Kantech, Keyscan, DSC, Aiphone, Bogen.
