Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Leader in Landscape Maintenance to oversee and coordinate outdoor landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in horticulture and landscape maintenance, and the ability to supervise a team effectively. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining client satisfaction through expert landscape care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape maintenance workers to complete assigned projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Oversee daily tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and general garden maintenance.
- Manage irrigation systems, ensuring proper installation, repair, and operation for optimal landscape health.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their landscape needs and provide professional recommendations.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during project execution.
- Schedule work assignments, monitor progress, and provide training or guidance as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Assist with construction activities related to landscape projects when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields.
- Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction environments preferred.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscaping techniques, and horticultural practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and operating equipment outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation between job sites.
- Experience with construction activities related to landscaping is a plus.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44.0 per week
