Position: Associate, Client Data & Process Automation (SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Azure Databricks)
Location: Hybrid (Downtown Toronto, ON)
Structure: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week | Onsite Monday & Wednesday
We have an exciting new opportunity to support one of our major financial services clients within their Capital Markets organization!
Our client is seeking a hands-on Associate, Client Data & Process Automation professional to support data management, analytics, reporting, regulatory initiatives, and process automation across a complex Capital Markets environment.
The successful candidate will have very strong SQL and relational database fundamentals, along with hands-on experience with Power BI and Alteryx. You will be responsible for extracting and combining data from multiple sources, developing and supporting dashboards and reports, improving data quality, and automating existing processes.
The team is also modernizing its data environment and moving toward Azure Databricks as a centralized data and query platform, making this a great opportunity for someone who wants exposure to a broader data transformation initiative.
This is a highly visible role with regular interaction across Business, Technology, Operations, Regulatory, Compliance, and Audit teams.

Strong hands-on SQL experience with excellent relational database fundamentals
Strong understanding of:
Approximately 4–5 years of hands-on Power BI experience
Experience building Power BI dashboards and reports from scratch
Experience inheriting, maintaining, and enhancing existing Power BI dashboards
Approximately 2–3 years of hands-on Alteryx experience
Experience building and maintaining Alteryx workflows
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong data analysis, data management, and data-quality experience
Ability to extract, combine, analyze, and validate information from multiple data sources
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder-facing experience and the ability to translate loosely defined business requirements into practical data solutions
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
Must be comfortable completing a short 15–20 minute hands-on technical assessment as part of the interview process
Must be comfortable working onsite in downtown Toronto on Mondays and Wednesdays

Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
Build and support Alteryx workflows used for data processing and automation
Support BAU and urgent data requests from business, regulatory, compliance, audit, and security stakeholders
Identify opportunities to automate existing manual processes
Support data-quality analysis, remediation, and ongoing data-management initiatives
Support client onboarding and client data-management activities, including AML/KYC, trade, and regulatory attributes
Work with Technology teams on enhancements to data-management tools and platforms
Support the team's strategic transition from Alteryx-based processes toward Azure Databricks
Translate stakeholder requirements into practical data and reporting solutions
Work directly with Business, Technology, Operations, Regulatory, Compliance, and Audit teams
Support Client Data Strategy and Regulatory initiatives within a Capital Markets environment
