Job Summary
EJCC operates three inclusive non-profit centres, providing exceptional care to approx 200 children between the ages of 5 months and 5 years. We follow the ECE Wage Scale and Benefit Package, and offer Professional Development opportunities.
-Prep-Cook- (1 Position at 485 Herring Cove Rd)
Responsible for assisting the Cook with preparing two snacks and one lunch daily. Responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness, dishwashing, and ensuring documentation is up to date in accordance with Nova Scotia Health and Early Learning and Childcare Regulations.
Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (flexible) Rate of Pay: $19 per hour
Requirements: Child Abuse Registry Check Criminal Record Check* Vulnerable Sector Check* *All checks must have been completed within the last year *Standard First Aid CPR-C *Food Handlers Certification (not required, but considered an asset)
