Here’s how you can contribute to that effort: (a)
– The Landscape Crew Member is an employee in landscape and construction and will learn basic electricity, basic plumbing and works with minimal supervision. The position will require the activities of the construction of pavers in the form of walkways, patios, driveways, pools and more. Activities may also include walls, gardens, ponds, waterfalls, firepits, low-voltage lighting and other landscaping related activities.
(b) – Follows directions from crew lead and company owner and carries out tasks without having to be instructed multiple times.
(c) – Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment, including, plate compactors, grinders, drills, gas saws, demolition hammers, jack hammers and other realted landscape tools.
(d) – Operates company vehicles including trailers and attaches equipment safely into motor vehicles and follows laws while doing so according to company vehicle agreement.
(e) Works within the physical demands outlined in an outdoor landscaping position that the employee will encounter on the job site. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; crouch; stoop or kneel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job are dictated.
(f) The job site conditions described are ones that the employee must work in and will encounter while performing the essential responsibilities of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), and moving mechanical equipment. In addition, job sites are located on both residential and commercial property. The employee may also occasionally be exposed to the homeowner’s pets.
(g) The employee must come prepared in company uniform and wear it to and from job site each day along with during any deliveries or pick-ups of material/goods. The employee must supply and wear their own pair of green patch steel toe safety boots. The employee should also have in their possession a hard hat, safety glasses and ear protection daily on the job site and utilize appropriate pieces of safety equipment as the job presents itself.
(h) Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.
Pay: $21.00-$37.00 per hour
