Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to utilize your clinical skills in a supportive and professional environment, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients. Prior experience with dental office software and a strong understanding of dental procedures are essential for success in this position.
Position Hours (non-negotiable):
Tuesdays: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Wednesdays: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Alternating Saturdays: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Provide oral health education and personalized recommendations for maintaining optimal dental hygiene
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
- Ensure all patient records are accurately documented using ClearDent
- Manage patient inquiries with professionalism, offering excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized treatment area in compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve practice efficiency and patient satisfaction
Skills
- Proficiency in ClearDent or other dental practice management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, facilitating communication with diverse patient populations
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Prior dental office experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for new team members

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
