About Mousewood
Mousewood is Prince George's first licensed Forest & Nature School.
Located on 5 acres of woodland, wetland, and meadow, our programs are built around exploration, curiosity, relationships, and a deep connection to nature.
We believe childhood should include muddy boots, climbing logs, building forts, chasing butterflies, discovering animal tracks, creating nature art, and learning how ecosystems work by experiencing them firsthand.
Our summer daycamps feature fun weekly themes such as Wacky Waterways, Habitat Builders, Critters & Creatures, Enchanted Forest, Dinos in the Woods, and Nature Art.

What You'll be Doing
You'll help co-lead small groups of up to 8 children ages 3–5.
A typical day might include:
* Exploring the woodland and meadow
* Nature-inspired art and creative projects
* Following animal tracks and signs
* Building shelters
* Investigating bugs, plants, ponds, and ecosystems
* Singing songs, telling stories, and sharing adventures
* Helping children build confidence, cooperation, and a lifelong love of nature
Our daycamps run for 4.5 hours each day.
Your hours are 8:00–3:00 (6.5 hours/day plus a 30-minute break).
Need more hours? We have those too.

No Forest School Experience Required
Many wonderful ECEs have never worked in a forest and nature program before but would like to try it.
If you enjoy working with children, spending time outdoors, and learning new things, we'll provide mentorship and training.

- Prince George, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
