Established restoration company is looking for reliable, conscientious, versatile personnel for our content department.
We are in the business of restoring both residential and commercial properties from damages due to fire, water, smoke, mould, biohazard contamination, vandalism, and all other property damaging events.
Duties of cleaning/content restoration staff include, but are not limited to:
- Construction/post construction/move-out cleans.
-Sorting and packing of contents in such a manner as to avoid damages.
-Cleaning and restoring contents after a loss.
-Listing content that has been deemed non-restorable.
-Returning content and resetting as per photos taken on pack-out.
-Utilizing various computer programs and mobile apps to facilitate processes.
-Assisting other team members with setting up equipment, demolition, debris removal, asbestos abatement, and any other activities requiring assistance.
The following qualifications are required:
-Valid class 5 licence.
-Ability to pass a criminal background check.
-Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
-Ability to participate in our On-Call Schedule for after-hour emergencies on a rotating basis.
-A fitness level to meet physical demands such as moving furniture, household content, drying equipment, as well as standing for prolonged periods.
The following additional qualifications would be considered an asset but are not required (training can be provided):
-Experience with i-Pads (knowledge of PSA and Encircle would be a definite asset).
-IICRC tickets, WHMIS, first aid, asbestos ticket.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
