Responsibilities
Assist senior carpenters in constructing and installing structures according to blueprints and schematics.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Support the team in framing, siding, finishing, and other carpentry tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Learn and apply best practices in construction and carpentry.
- Qualifications
Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Prior experience or training in construction or carpentry is a plus.
- Commitment to safety standards.
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Collingwood, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
