- Responds to work orders for a wide variety of in-store systems and equipment which include, but may not be limited to, HVAC systems (ex. Packaged rooftop units, Make up air systems, Exhaust systems), Refrigeration systems (ex. Walk-in Coolers/Freezers, Open Air Coolers, Reach-in Coolers/Freezers), and Cold beverage equipment (ex. Ice Makers, Fountain/Frozen beverage, Bulk creamer machines, etc.), all of which may be either self-contained or remote units
- Expert knowledge of refrigerant recovery and safe disposal of refrigerant
- Expert at troubleshooting refrigeration system faults and making repairs as needed
- Expert at troubleshooting electrical faults within the equipment and making repairs as needed
- Expert at safely and properly brazing refrigerant lines and components
- Effective in communication with internal and external partners
- Follow shift expectation start times defined by AFM. Available to work flexible hours upon request with reasonable notice. May require unscheduled overtime, or response to emergency situations
- Appropriately maintain company vehicle, inventory, and scheduled vehicle maintenance
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: High School/GED preferred
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Peer-to-Peer Tech support
- Effective time management
- Need to have a valid Driver's License
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 Hourly
