Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dairy Farm Worker to join our team and contribute to the daily operations of our family run Dairy Farm. We are a progressive robotic dairy farm located near Woodstock, Ontario. This role is essential in maintaining the health and productivity of our dairy cattle, ensuring smooth farm operations, and supporting the overall success of the farm. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of barns, robotic milking equipment, and surrounding areas to promote animal health and hygiene
- Afternoon calf feeding which takes place around approximately 2:30-3:00pm.
- Feeding calves according to established feeding protocols.
- Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or distress to farm management
- Assist with general livestock care including bedding and general animal care
- Opportunities to operate farm machinery for the right candidate
Skills
- Dairy farm experience is an asset but not essential. We are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor conditions
- Willingness to learn about dairy farming practices and animal care standards
- Willingness to work some weekends when required

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
