Job description
Overview
Acme Group of Companies, headquartered in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, is a global leader with diversified operations across immigration services, recruitment, real estate development, and AI-driven IT solutions. With a strong and growing presence in North America, the Middle East, Australia, Europe, and Africa, we continue to expand our international footprint and service capabilities.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, and results-oriented "Chief Growth Officer" to support our growth by developing and managing a network for our sister company "Prime Path Education and Career Counselling".
PrimePath Education and Career Counseling is a Surrey-based consultancy that helps Permanent Residents, Canadian Citizens, and Protected Persons access government education funding and find the right post-secondary program for their goals. We work with partner colleges across British Columbia and serve a diverse, multicultural client community.
We are growing — and we are looking for a senior leader who can build the systems, partnerships, and teams that take us to the next level
The Role
The Chief Growth Officer is a senior leadership position responsible for driving PrimePath's overall growth strategy. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, business development, marketing, and team leadership. The CGO will own the end-to-end growth engine — from building institutional partnerships and developing the agent referral network, to overseeing digital marketing and managing the sales team.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The right candidate is equally comfortable designing a strategy and executing it on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement PrimePath's growth strategy in alignment with the CEO's vision
- Translate strategic goals into quarterly action plans with clear milestones and accountability
- Lead the weekly performance review and enforce KPIs across all team functions
- Identify new market opportunities, revenue streams, and service expansion areas
- Report directly to the CEO with regular growth updates and strategic recommendations
Institutional Partnerships
- Build and manage relationships with colleges and post-secondary institutions across BC
- Lead outreach, negotiation, and closure of agency agreements with partner institutions
- Identify and onboard new institutional partners aligned with PrimePath's service model
- Represent PrimePath professionally at institutional meetings, education fairs, and events
Agent & Referral Network Development
- Build PrimePath's community sub-agent network from the ground up
- Design and manage the agent onboarding, training, and commission structure
- Maintain consistent communication with agents to keep them active and motivated
- Monitor agent performance and implement strategies to maximise referral volume
- Recruit agents embedded within key multicultural communities across British Columbia
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Oversee all digital marketing activities — Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, SEO, and content
- Direct the Marketing Officer toward campaigns that generate qualified, converting leads
- Lead multicultural outreach targeting South Asian, African, Iranian, Middle Eastern, Southeast Asian, and Latin American communities
- Plan and manage community events, information sessions, and education fairs across BC
- Ensure all marketing is consistent, culturally appropriate, and conversion-focused
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Manage and coach the Marketing Officer, Sales Representatives, and support staff
- Set individual performance targets and hold team members accountable consistently
- Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and results across the organisation
- Identify staffing gaps and make recommendations to the CEO on team structure
Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related discipline
Experience
- 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in growth management, business development, or senior operational leadership
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships, referral networks, or channel sales programs
- Background in digital marketing with working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta, and SEO
- Proven ability to lead and hold accountable a cross-functional team
- Experience working with or serving multicultural communities in Canada is highly valued
Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, and presentational
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building ability
- Comfortable with data and KPIs — able to interpret trends and act on them
- Self-driven and highly organised with strong follow-through
- Professional presentation — confident in institutional and community settings
- Fluency in a second language (Punjabi, Hindi, Farsi, Arabic, French, or Spanish) is a significant advantage
Assets (Not Required)
- Experience in the education, immigration, student services, or financial services sector
- Existing relationships with BC colleges, settlement agencies, or community organisations
- Knowledge of Student Aid BC or government education funding programs
- Experience managing commission-based agent networks
