Position Overview: The ideal candidate for this role is someone who enjoys working with people, excels at multitasking, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service. As a Front Desk/Optometric Assistant, you will often be the one of the first points of contact for our patients, whether it be taking their phone call, checking them in for their appointment, or running diagnostic tests to prepare them for their exams with the doctor. Depending on experience, the position may also include fitting and dispensing of eyeglasses.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet and assist patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
· Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and check-outs.
· Perform preliminary tests for patients before they see the doctor.
· Provide information and answer questions regarding our products and services.
· Assist with administrative tasks and support the optometric team as needed.
· Handle adjustments and dispensing of eyewear, as well as frame and lens selection.
Qualifications:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
· Experience in the medical or eye care field is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Schedule:
Part time position (3-4 days a week). Our clinic is open Monday through Saturday. There is a requirement to work a minimum one evening per week and Saturdays.
