Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Support the team during busy service hours by providing timely food service
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal preparation
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff members
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
