We are looking for a reliable and organized Tracking & Tracing Coordinator to join our transportation team. This position is responsible for monitoring shipments, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring accurate, timely updates throughout the delivery process.
Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery
- Communicate with drivers regularly to obtain current shipment status
- Provide accurate and timely updates to customers and internal dispatch
- Identify and report delays, missed appointments, breakdowns, and other service issues
- Proactively follow up on shipments that are behind schedule
- Update tracking systems and maintain accurate shipment records
- Communicate with customers regarding pickup and delivery status
- Escalate service issues to dispatch or management when required
- Follow up on PODs and delivery confirmations
- Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, terminals, and customers to resolve issues
- Maintain professional and clear communication at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or tracking/tracing is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable communicating with drivers and customers by phone, email, and messaging
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn transportation software quickly
- Ability to work independently and follow up without constant supervision
- Must be reliable and punctual
The Ideal Candidate:
You are someone who stays on top of things, doesn't wait for problems to become complaints, and is comfortable making calls and following up until an issue is resolved. Experience in the trucking industry is strongly preferred.
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
