Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support the team during busy service periods by ensuring timely food delivery
- Adhere to serving protocols and assist with food service when needed
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate supply needs to management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Basic knowledge of meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if necessary
