Responsibilities
As a High Reach Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a high-reach forklift to load and unload containers, pick and prepare customer orders, and arrange pallets within the warehouse. You may also be required to manually handle products weighing up to 50 lbs. when necessary. Maintaining a safe, organized work environment and following all warehouse procedures and safety protocols are essential. You will be expected to work efficiently in a cold storage environment while ensuring accuracy and productivity throughout your shift.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating a high-reach forklift and hold a valid High Reach Forklift Certification (out-of-province and in-house certifications are accepted). You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing, and work comfortably in a cold storage environment while dressed appropriately in layers. CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots are required. Candidates must demonstrate safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and awareness of their surroundings. Please note that cell phones are not permitted on the warehouse dock.
