We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and quality standards.
- Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize productivity while ensuring thorough cleaning practices.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the guest experience.
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or custodial industry is preferred. *NOT REQUIRED*
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and management professionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
