Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our window manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC or manual press brake machines to bend aluminum and steel components used in the production of windows, doors, frames, and related products. The ideal candidate should be able to read technical drawings, perform accurate measurements, and maintain high-quality production standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC or manual press brake machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Bend aluminum, steel, and other sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Select the correct tooling and machine settings for each job.
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, angle gauges, and protractors.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
- Report production issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience operating a Press Brake in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in window, door, aluminum extrusion, or sheet metal fabrication is a strong asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of machine setup, tooling selection, and bend sequence.
- Experience using measuring instruments accurately.
- Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime as needed.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
