Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Hand to support our culinary team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Duties
- Assist with basic food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Assist with dishwashing, waste disposal, and stock replenishment
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Serve food to customers or staff in accordance with established standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
- Support the overall operation of the kitchen during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and hygiene standards is advantageous
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly processes
- Willingness to learn new skills related to the food industry
