Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Pump Truck Operator to join our construction team in. This vital role involves operating heavy machinery to efficiently and safely deliver concrete to various construction sites. Duties
- Operate concrete pump trucks with precision, ensuring accurate placement of concrete according to project specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on pump equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with site managers, concrete finishers, and other crew members to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of pump truck operations at different job sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations during operation, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations, including materials used and equipment maintenance logs.
- Support other construction activities as needed, such as loading materials with loaders or excavators.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating concrete pump trucks in a construction environment.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Construction experience, including familiarity with paving, concrete forming, and finishing techniques.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for heavy equipment operation.
- Experience operating loaders, excavators, and other related machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures for heavy equipment and construction sites.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads and working in various weather conditions.
